Updated API documentation

We have been working hard on updating the API documentation to cover all the new API changes to 6.2. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience in this matter.

Customers can now define the retention period directly from the platform

Case tasks per Environment

New and existing Case tasks that are assigned to Users or SOC roles will be presented only for users who have access to the environment of the Case.

New options added for Rebranding the platform (Advanced Rebranding)

New options have been added to the Rebranding module. Note that these options are part of a new paid license. Please speak to your customer rep for more details about the license.

Options added are the ability to rebrand the Login screen, System emails and the ability to replace the Favicon in the browser. In the future, more options will be added in order for you to create a bespoke look and feel to the SOAR platform. For more information, please see How can I rebrand the platform using my own logo.


Future Platform Changes

Please note that the following changes will be applied to Release 6.2.14:

HTML Widget   - Video / Layout 6 (with option to add video options) will be changing.

Certain video sites will no longer be supported, for example Youtube, files.fm.
An example of a video site that will be supported is sendspark.
Note: If you are not sure if the video site you are working with is supported within Chronicle SOAR platform, please ask Customer Support.

As a result of this - we strongly advise you to look at your Playbook views and see if there are videos that need moving to other vendors and new links that need to be added.  

Bug Fixes

  • After changing a parameter in a Job, the old parameter is still being used when the Job runs. (ID #00165177)
  • When exporting integrations from the IDE, it does not export the custom manager when selecting "All Items" for export.
