Minor Features for 6.0
New Permissions screen
The Permissions screen has been redesigned to reflect a more granular approach. In addition, more flexibility in allowing or restricting sub modules has been added. For example, you can now restrict users from seeing the Case Wall.
For more information, refer to Working with Permission Groups.
Mentions in Case Chat
You have the option to mention a specific user/role in the Chat message. The user/role receives case mentions via push/email notifications as defined in the Notifications preferences. For more information, see Instant Messaging on a Case.
Playbook Status added to Homepage Requests
The Homepage Request tab displays the playbook status when there's a playbook attached to the Request case.
Reorder fields in the Event table widget
The user can reorder the Event Table fields by dragging and dropping them in the required order.
Tooltip added to Entity icon
The Entity icon now contains a tooltip that helps the user identify the type of Entity.
Open new tab for Marketplace (#7442)
The user can right click on the Marketplace icon to open a new browser tab.
Playbook Simulator - search added to the Test Cases dropdown
The user can search for a case in the Choose Case drop-down list in the Playbook Simulator.
Case Queue Compact View
The Case Queue has been redesigned to enable you to see more cases at a time.
For more information, see What's on the Cases Screen?
Test Cases now clearly defined (#6015)
In order to make things clearer, the option to Simulate Alert has now been reworded to say Ingest Alert as Test Case. Test Cases will be clearly marked with a Test label on them.
Playbook now supports Manual Actions assigned with personalized message (#7029)
When working with Playbooks steps, when changing the Action Type from Automatic to Manual, you can now assign this action to a specific role or person, and send them a personalized message with detailed information. You can also choose to assign an entire Playbook block to a specific role or person to decide whether to run it or not.
This can be useful, for example, when dealing with the new collaborator role function.
It will also appear as a Pending Action for the person/s you selected in the Homepage and Case View.
User name can now be email address
Previously, the @ sign could not be used as part of a user name. This validation has been removed enabling you to use an email address as a user name.
