Cloud Backup and Archive
Each customer has their own RDS database. In order to supply fully stable and high available services, the database is backed up routinely as follows:
- Database is backed up on a daily basis (based on AWS service and standards)
- Database is backed up before upgrades
- Each backup is encrypted with the customer’s personal KMS key
- Last 3 backups are stored for each RDS database to enable easy rollback

Upon request, Google will provide a copy of the entire database for any
customer need (i.e. regulation need).
